Troubled Waters Documentary Film
A small town in northwestern Argentina is being poisoned by the very substance it needs to live.
Discoveries have shown that San Antonio de Los Cobres’ drinking water is contaminated with arsenic levels 25 times higher than the World Health Organization’s accepted levels.
Troubled Waters is a documentary film that will show how a determined group of people have brought together their resources and abilities to fight this global epidemic by providing a solution for the people of San Antonio de Los Cobres. Human compassion, coupled with modern technology and constant determination, will eventually give this town a filtration system, which will save countless lives from premature death and give future generations the lasting joy of long life.
Troubled Waters will tell this story.
It is also our hope that Troubled Waters will inspire other towns and villages throughout Argentina who also have arsenic in their drinking water supply to realize there are workable solutions available for this problem.
