In 2006 HHM organized an expedition
partially financed by a grant from the University of London on which Dr. Karen Hudson and Dr.
Jane Archer performed extensive tests and determined that the drinking water in San Antonio de Los Cobres has 25 times more arsenic than the World Health Organization says is safe to drink.

Financial update on the project
As of September 14, 2009 we only need to raise an additional $7,500 to reach the goal of $70,000 needed to provide arsenic free drinking water to every man, woman, and child in San Antonio de Los Cobres, Argentina.
